Dr. Gaur has had a distinguished academic career with three distinctions during the MBBS years at Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai. After completing his general surgery residency at University College of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, he moved to Surgical Oncology, DR.BRA-IRCH, AIIMS, New Delhi and got trained for 6 years under the country's top experts in the field. He got his training in Breast Surgical Oncology under Prof. SVS Deo, President, Association of Breast Surgeons of India at AIIMS, New Delhi. Earlier, he was also an Assistant Professor of Surgical Oncology at AIIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Gaur has presented several research papers at National and International conferences and also published several peer reviewed papers in national and international journals. He has written a chapter in the book “Multidisciplinary Approach to Surgical Oncology Patients”. This year (2023), he was awarded with the INDO-UK Breast Oncoplasty Traveling Fellowship at ABSICON, 2023 held at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
