I am an Oncologist trained in Surgical Oncology (MCh.) from one of the premier institutes in India (All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar). From being awarded the best Prograduate student to getting awards at various conferences and being trained as fellow in Robotic Surgery from the first formal degree with university affiliation in Robotic Surgery , I believe learning and growing never stops. I have been trained under one of the world’s best Robotic surgeon’s Dr. S. P. Somashekhar and Dr. Subash Khanna. I
believe prevention and early detection are equally important to treatment, and thus I am part of various community screening programs and camps to help the needy. Pursuing my special interest in GI and Thoracic cancer, I have a fellowship in advanced Laparoscopic GI surgery and Robotic Surgery from IAGES and have been awarded for my presentations. Besides being trained in the management of cancer patients, I am also interested in Audits and Research and have worked actively in research related to Gastric Cancer and Oral Cancer which form a large burden of disease in our Country and Asian subcontinent.
