Policy Title: Subsidized treatment to BPL/EWS patients at Artemis Health Institute at Sector-51,Gurgaon

Policy Statement(s):

As per clause 3 and 27 of the Land Allotment Letter for Hospital site land at Sector -51, Gurgaon :

“The plot is neither preferential nor special preferential one”

Regarding the clause no. XI of the advertisement which reads as “Subsidized rates @ 30% of the normal charges shall be charged for 20% of functional beds in addition to 20% OPD free for the weaker section of the Society”

Relevant policy guidelines issued by HUDA, Panchkula vide Memo No. A-Pwn-UB-II-08/29030-50 dated 13th Aug 2008.

Scope:

• The benefit under the policy is restricted to poor persons of Haryana domicile only; and
• Eligible persons to meet the following condition(s) to avail the benefit :
  
  • Any person having the BPL card, Class IV employees of Haryana government or undertakings or any other person having monthly income not exceeding Rs. 5,000/- per month will be classified as belonging to weaker section of the society (hereinafter referred as “EWS”); or
  • The Patients referred by following :
    • Chief Minister, Haryana ; or
    • Health Minister, Haryana; or
    • Civil Surgeon or Nodal officer of the District Gurgaon ; or
    • District Red Cross Society after approval by the President cum Deputy Commissioner.

Procedure for availing benefit as per policy:

• A Poor Patient (PP) Help Desk is available at the Hospital to guide the eligible patients.
• Patients registering/taking appointment through the “Poor Patient Help Desk“shall be provided discounts under the policy.
• Eligible PP to show/submit documentary proof (in Original) seeking hospitalization/appointment, as applicable, while completing formalities of registration at the aforesaid help desk, except in case of emergent situations wherein the formality of reference can be completed subsequently.
